Paddles are $3 each or 2 for $5
Here is how a “Pick a Prize” Auction works. A Bidder purchases numbered paddles for $3 each or 2 for $5. A ball with the same number(s) goes into the bin. We will have 4 rounds. The bid amounts being 3 quarters per paddle for 2 rounds and 2 quarters per paddle for 2 rounds.
Each Vendor will have at least 4 items displayed in their space on the Auction Block. Example: We are in the 2-quarter round and we are at Jamberry. If you want a chance to win, you pay .50 cents for each paddle you want to use. Everyone who wants to bid on the item pays .50 cents to their table worker (per paddle) and raises their paddle up above their head. When all bids are in, the balls are mixed up, and a ball is drawn with a number on it. If the person with that number placed a bid, THEY WIN!!! They get to go up to the Auction Block and choose anything they want from Avon. If they did not bid, another ball is drawn until someone who placed a bid wins. This process continues to the next Vendor on the Auction block until the end. Then the next round begins starting with the first Vendor. You can bring your own quarters or purchase them at the Auction. We encourage reservations, especially if you have a group that wants to sit together. We also encourage you to come early, when doors open. This will give you time to walk the Auction Block and decide what you would LOVE TO WIN. It will also give you time to purchase something to eat and drink and shop the Vendor tables which will be around the perimeter of the room for your shopping pleasure. The Vendors are usually offering something special and/or great deals at their tables
