The weekend of February 26-28th 2016 Gov. Larry Hogan (R) took a tour of Southern Maryland. The governor spent three days meeting with local elected officials, touring local businesses and talking with the public announcing several new projects that will take place in the tri-county area. On February 27th, Gov. Hogan visited Serenity Farm in Benedict, MD to learn about Farming 4 Hunger Inc. and Serenity Farm. Several members of the Benedict Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad got the opportunity and were very honored to meet Gov. Hogan and welcome him to the town of Benedict.
